Eddie Bauer Return Policy

We want all our customers to be happy with our products. If you’re unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange it in its original unworn/unused condition with proof of purchase within 60 days of the purchase date for a replacement or a full refund in the original form of payment.

Items purchased in-store

Items purchased in our stores must be returned at an Eddie Bauer store. If you are an Adventure Rewards member, we are happy to look up your proof of purchase. If you have questions or are unsure about an in-store return, please call your nearest Eddie Bauer store for assistance. You can find your nearest Eddie Bauer location here.

Items purchased online

Most items ordered online may be returned online or in-store within 60 days of the purchase date. This excludes online-exclusive products, including tents, sleeping bags, home goods, and women’s swimsuits. These products must be returned online. Kids' products must follow the return process noted here.

Please allow 14 business days (US) and 30 business days (CAN) for us to receive and process your return. Once your return is processed, you’ll get an email confirming that your refund is being processed back to the original form of payment. If you paid with a gift card, we’ll issue a new digital gift card in the amount of your refund.

Returns made to our distribution center are subject to a return shipping fee of either $7 for US customers or $10 for Canadian customers. This fee will be waived if you place your order during a free promotion return. If your item qualifies for a free return, your online refund summary may still show a return shipping fee. However, that shipping fee will not be assessed when your return has been received and processed.

Eddie Bauer products purchased from another retailer must be returned to that retailer.

Product Guarantee Claims

We design all our products to last, and we test and manufacture them to the highest quality standards. If your Eddie Bauer product has a defect in materials or workmanship, you may return it with proof of purchase within 60 days for a replacement or to have the original purchase amount credited to your original form of payment.

If your product is deemed defective but has no proof of purchase or was purchased outside of the 60-day return window, you only may exchange or replace it with a similar item at an Eddie Bauer store for up to one year of the purchase date.

Please note that our Product Guarantee does not cover items affected by normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or damage caused by improper usage.
