I plan to take it traveling. Turns out 30L is smaller than I envisioned, but I can still get a lot inside.This bag will accompany 1 carry-on bag for a 3week trip to urban and rural locations.

Going to Europe soon, perfent for a day use.

WE USED THIS BACKPACK ON A TRIP TO EUROPE. IT WAS OUR STANDARD DAYPACK. WE WERE ABLE TO TAKE JACKETS, WATER AND SNACKS WITH US. IT IS LIGHT WEIGHTM, VERY DURABLE AND A PLEASURE TO CART AROUND. THE SIZE WORKES WELL FOR TWO PEOPLE FOR A DAY.

Durable, light weight. Good for everyday use or travel. Easily packed as an extra bag or daypack. I got the dark forrest color, neutral yet won't show dirt from use. Has a water bottle holder on side.

I used this packable bag as an extra piece of luggage to carry all the purchases and miscellaneous items I picked up in my month-long trip abroad. It's as comfortable and sturdy as a full-size backpack, but is lightweight and easily stored in luggage when not in use.

I have owned several branded backpacks, including high-priced TUMI bags, but the Eddie Bauer 30L packable backpack has far exceeded my expectations. It's extremely lightweight and packable, making the 30L capacity sufficient for any domestic or international trip. Additionally, it is much more durable than I expected, especially considering its reasonable price. My only minor issue (which could also be seen as a good problem) is that I use it on every trip, and it is holding up like new. As a result, it is difficult to justify replacing it. I'm currently on my second one; the first one had no issues except for a small split in the front pocket due to my own negligence. While this backpack obviously doesn't compare to a TUMI that costs around $600, I have found it more useful than any other bag or piece of luggage I own. I strongly recommend it!

I love that it can pack down and then be big enough to fit everything. It isn't heavy either

Very lightweight and compact. Easy to compress back into the self-contained pouch. Very roomy for lots of stuff.

Love this backpack, it always comes along as a day bag or excess luggage in case of too many purchases. I like to lay it flat on top of my clothes in my luggage. It takes up no room and doesn't get wrinkled like when packing it into itself.

I got the black version for travel and it's honestly such a great bag. I particularly appreciate the multiple pockets, clip hooks etc. The stretchy outer pocket is perfect for a neck pillow and travel toiletries. I have no problem putting it back into it's storage pouch pocket, not sure why there are so many negative reviews on something that amounts to user error.

Purchased this soft structured backpack for my husband in a size up from the one I purchased for myself (20L). It will be great for summer travel in Europe, sized right to carry tablet, water bottle and other carry on items and with easy access for unloading pockets at TSA check in and realizing once he passes through. My 20 L has been great and I expect him to be very happy with the 30L.

I spent months looking for a new pack that would make me as happy as my previous one. I use it daily for work so I had certain things I was looking for. This hits all points and the color is gorgeous

I ABSOLUTELY love this backpack! I have one that I have been using for a good 5 years. I initially purchased for travel & weekends away, but quickly found that it worked much better for me as the day pack. I use a rollator to get around and realized that as I used transportation cars/busses I could no longer use my favorite shoulder bas so I began using this, It was perfect! I could carry all my purse items in different ways (wallet checkbook & small zippered bags for comb etc. plus I now had a place to the book I always carry with me and any paperwork needed, cellphone meds you name it I could carry it! And carry it on my back evenly which made my dr happy too! And I used for air travel as well, including cables- It holds a great deal! I actually carried this and a smaller backpack for travel with a change of clothing in smaller one. I have washed on delicate a few times and it wonderfully folds into itself taking just a small space! I think I need a new color for fun.....

I would buy this product again. Very handy! Love the pocket space.

I have one of these bags that I use as a carry on and also for short trips. I can fit everything I need for a 2-3 day overnighter in it! After the LA fires, I bought three more to use as go bags.

Packable, and love the room/pockets for all items. I used this as a personal bag on a flight and worried it would be too small. It fit many items and had room for other stuff. I used the stowaway pocket for my phone and headphones. I love the orange color too.

I bought this backpack for taking on the plane. It's soft sided so you can really stuff this thing. It has several compartments and 2 nice, deep water bottle pockets. It also fold back up into a pouch when you no longer need it. Perfect!
