Large petite was necessary to fit a large chest size. But, it is a great fit and I love the jacket. So glad they had the sizing to accommodate my shape.

Great jacket! Got XL so I can layer under it. Went snowshoeing and it kept me the perfect temp with an vest underneath even when it was in the 20F's with wind. Arms run a little small as previous reviews state but I do have bigger upper arms to start with.

I needed a warm rain and wind resistant coat. This is working out just fine.

This is a great jacket... it's very light weight, but quite warm. It's well made of course, as Eddie Bauer things are. It's nicely detailed, both aesthetically with the stitching pattern and functionally, with the inside cell phone pocket and zippered handwarmer pockets. I got mine oversized, to wear a warm sweater underneath, but I often don't... it's plenty warm to a bit below freezing.

I can move freely in it. It keeps me warm. I like the way it looks. I am petite, but I bought a regular because I wanted it to fit longer. I also wanted to have room under it for a sweatshirt or a sweater. It is not a bulky coat, and I like that. We do not get snow. Our lows can be in the 20s or 30s and highs in the 40s to 50s in the winter.

I love the fit of this jacket - this is the second one I've purchased. It is roomy enough to layer underneath and not too bulky to put a shell over when extra warmth or wind/water protection is needed. This is my go-to jacket year round!

The jacket is light and very warm. Not too sure about how good it is in repelling water yet. I did some splash test and I think it'll probably won't work well in heavy storm but may work in light rain.

Lovely color, lightweight and stylish. This coat is warm and has zippers in the pockets as well as a hood. Nothing else needed! Third coat I've bought for winter from EB.

The jacket is lightweight and flexible, comfortable fits perfect, Folds small to store. Washes nicely and keeps me very warm. Love it.

I bought this a size larger so I could layer it with a vest underneath. I was concerned when I saw how small the package was. And how light. The jacket fits great with plenty of room to layer with a vest. Deep zipper outer pockets, and bonus - an inside zipper chest pocket and two really deep inner side pockets. I wore it outside last evening to check out the northern lights and was pleasantly surprised at how warm it is. The hood is insulated but there is no string to tighten it. The way it fit there was no need for one. Loose enough not to crush my hair but tight enough to stay put. The jacket is super light and will be great to roll up into a backpack or carry-on.

I have yet to wear the jacket in winter, but I'm expecting it to be warm enough for all except coldest temps. Fits well. Will be able to wear mid weight sweaters under it. Hood is rather large and loose, but not a deal breaker. Color is beautiful. I really like that it is wind resistant. Bought on sale so good value.

This is a wonderful jacket! I'm currently in Alaska and needed something that would keep me warm in freezing temps but also be lightweight. This was perfect! I love that it has a little bit of form to it so it doesn't look boxy. Thanks Eddie Bauer!

This will be my 3rd down hooded 800 fill jacket I've purchased. I have always bought black, but this muted purple is a lovely change! Love the comfort, weight, and warmth of this every day jacket!

The fit and style are great. Fits snug and flattering. I worry about the care - when I washed it there was a lot of the 'filling' inside the tub of the washer and in the lint trap of the dryer

I have F-O-U-R of these jackets, I love them so much. Light, warm, windproof, water-repellent, and absolutely CHIC, I wear them during three seasons. And when they come out with a new color in the fall, I'll have 5 of them! THANK YOU EDDIE BAUER!

Bought this jacket on the recommendation of a friend and I'm so glad I did! It's lightweight, not bulky and packable. The hood stays up and the stretch panels around the arms allow for great range of motion. I ordered a M, a size up for me to accommodate larger sweaters underneath. The color is more berry than maroon in person. Very pretty.

This jacket is very lightweight and packable. Easy to regulate temperature with zipper and hood while running and hiking.

It is both comfort and style. It moves well and looks good.
