I use it as outerwear. Gym or running. Errands. Not see through but does have a fly. I wear something underneath them. It says worn alone or as baselayer and with high price on everything. It's needed

Long overdue purchase for a base layer and I regret not pulling the trigger sooner. Thin but warm, definitely a snug fit but with good stretch. Not sure I would wear alone as the description suggests, but you do you. The legs are a little bit long, but with the goal of keeping your entire leg warm, I'd rather have a little extra than not enough to reach my ankles.

These are very warm and Comfortable. A very good quality product that I would buy again.

These are the best base layer bottoms I have ever worn. I have been a fan of the Eddie Bauer guide pants for years, and this base layer is on par with them for excellence. I work outside. I do not enjoy wearing insulated bibs because, although warm, they are cumbersome. So, this winter I've worn the grid pattern base layer under a pair of heavy denim pants when temps are in the high teens to thirties, and it has been a relief. They keep warm and I can move with absolute unrestricted movement. I have recommended them to co-workers who also prefer not to wear insulated bibs. I know the sizes are mostly sold out. Hope to see them available for the next winter season.

Eddiebauer really knows how to master Camo! The baselayer Camo is made stylish and low key at the same time, not to mention the expected warmth. It is surely a winter must.

These have quickly become my favorite skiing baselayer. I use them resort skiing on medium to colder days under shell pants. The grid fleece is warm and the stretch keeps them comfortable. I can get two days in before washing, my pair has seen over a dozen washes and are holding up great. I would have purchased another pair if they hadn't sold out so quickly.

These thermals are super comfortable and keep you warm when you need them to - I was worried because I tend to overheat pretty quickly with a lot of layers of clothing on, but I didn't feel like I was wearing anything extra with these on!

High quality and on sale, an incredible value. Also have a perfect fit, not at all tight or restrictive but "cling" to you nicely and stay in place. I have a high tolerance for cold weather but these are so comfortable I'll wear them under whatever pant I grab, anytime it gets to about 35F.

I used this as my second baselayer on a climb in the Chilean Andes. It went over a merino layer. Combined the two layers kept me warm through the frigid hours of an alpine start, although I could have probably gotten by with just the Eddie Bauer fleece under my hard shell pant. I intend on using this product on Denali as well. Good investment for the money.
