The perfect snack to take with you on the trail, to work, or back to school. This Apple Maple Trail Mix is a great way to embrace the fall season. It features seasonal ingredients like dehydrated apples and pumpkin seeds, along with a few perennial favorites like nuts, cranberries, and chocolate chunks. But the best part is the maple syrup glaze. It gives the trail mix just the right amount of crunch and sweetness. It’s a great grab-and-go snack for your autumn adventures.

Making this recipe couldn’t be simpler. Combine the nuts, pumpkin seeds, and coconut chips in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the maple syrup in and mix thoroughly to combine.
Spread the maple-covered mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, smooth everything down into a single even layer, and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake at 300F for 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. The maple glaze needs to be fully hardened before it can be handled.
Once cool, you can break apart the mixture and place it in another mixing bowl. Add in the cranberries, apple chips, and chocolate chunks and toss to combine.
We hope you get a chance to make this trail mix. It’s one of our all-time favorites and we’re sure it will become one of yours as well!
